About Kimberly...
Though she is a native of Orlando (where she currently resides), Kimberly's diverse interests and love of life have taken her across the globe and in many directions professionally. She has lived and worked in Canada, England, Estonia, and Germany, and is passionate about experiencing and learning about cultures other than her own. She brings this love of diversity to her counseling, and enjoys working with people from all religious, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
As a counselor, Kimberly enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families and specializes in working with children and adolescents. She works to create a non-judgmental and authentic relationship with each of her clients, and places an emphasis on creating an environment of respect, empathy and support. She is a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association and the American Counseling Association, and abides by the ethical guidelines of each organization.
In addition to her work as a counselor, Kimberly has worked for Orange County Public Schools for over six years, and currently works as a SAFE (Student Assistance and Family Empowerment) Coordinator in a Middle School. In this position, she enjoys working closely with students to help them discover their strengths and to uncover their true potential. Her private counseling practice is an extension of this passion.
